Universal Doctor Speaker: Medical Translator with Audios App revisa

What is the point?

If your patient can read, great. But it is pointless to have a talking foreign language app only in ENGLISH! I was hoping for one more like MediBabble. This doesn’t help at all.

Interesting app, needs more than one Chinese dialect

I downloaded this app, hoping to use it during a doctor's visit with my mom. The app's description states that it supports Chinese, but did not say which dialect. FYI, the current version supports Mandarin only. Please add Cantonese! Thanks.

Don't buy

There is no patient to provider interaction available.

Not generally acceptable for use in the USA

I say generally. Don't get me started on medical regulators, they would let a patient die if their friend the pathology chair said that the patient was just fine.

Arabic

Arabic language please When you add Arabic language I'll add 1star more and I'll share your app

Really useful when overseas

Seriously helpful app. Went on vacation recently and my medical condition flared up. Used this app with the doc and he was able to understand what I had, my medical history and I was able to understand what his medical advice was pretty clearly. Helped me out in a pretty bad situation. Thanks y'all

Great app for translations

Lots of languages and sentences, audio is a great feature. Excellent tool for translating my medical visits when I travel. Easy to use.

Missing a lot

I am a doctor in NYC. And we have a lot of patients who don't speak good english; indian, chinese, indonesians, iranians.. These are the languages that should be added.. And people from those countries don't speak english clearly.. Add those languages and we have a great app.. And yeah.. It is the biggest app on my iphone.. I could just use google translate and save 150mb on my phone..

Helpful

I liked the app ,but the arabic audio is not pronounced as its written, which makes it not understandable for all Arabs. And i also would love to see the turkish language in here, since most of there clinics doesn't have english speakers Thanks a lot for this great app

Amazing app for medical professionals, students, and avid travelers!

Perfect precautionary app for those who travel, give care, or are studying medicine/languages. I do all three and can't get enough of this app. The interface is easy to use and the content is super.

Excellent medical translations

Used this app with foreign patients and was impressed with the quantity and quality of translations. The app nicely organizes hundreds of medical questions and answers with audio versions. Was quite easy to find what I needed. Helpful in overcoming communication barriers. Definitely worth the money.

Too Basic to be useful

There are only very few, limited sets of one liners which you know already if you can speak that language at most rudimentary or beginner's level. It is only useful if you landed in the country whose language you have never heard before and you become suddenly I'll. Certainly a waste of money.

Good

Good

Cool medical app

Got the iPhone one, easy to use. Had to talk to a nurse about a fever I got, thought I might have malaria! The nurse was able to help me, was great to be able to click on the sentences and hear it out loud. Would only say to change the way languages are chosen in the home screen, took a few min to figure that out.

Problems

I can't locate "You can also take your medical records and treatment (prescriptions, etc.) in all the languages available in the application." on the iPad version!!! Also on the iPhone/touch version the prescriptions are VERY limited and no way to enter any that are not listed. So you will have to carry another list and hope someone can read English. To me some didn't think this program all the way through!!! INHOSPITABLE Also would be nice to have Korean added to it.
